Here are a few pics I took of my iPad in a Maxpedition Colossus Versipack.

There are 3 pockets the iPad can fit in. Each is a pretty snug fit using the Apple case.

That's a good looking bag. I've been looking for a vertical bag like that... was it expensive?

It was $80 from campsmarter.com, the shipping was reasonable via UPS.

that is a great looking bag, I was at there web page, what color is your bag and could you squeeze a MBA in there?

Thanks

Thanks for the pics, I was thinking on getting the same bag for my iPad which I also keep in the apple case. I've already tried the Maxpedition Jumbo but the fit was a little too snug for me. Is it easy to close the zipper on the concealed compartment with the iPad in it? I don't want to have to fight it every time to get it close. Thanks dude!:apple:

It's a little snug at first due to the slight trapezoidal shape of the concealed carry pockets but after a few times it slides right into either the back pocket or the zippered pocket. It also fits nicely in a pocket of the main compartment.

The PALS webbing is great for adding extra pockets and I can recommend getting a JANUS Extension Pocket which will add a pouch at chest level for iPod, phone, point-and-shoot camera, etc.

This bag looks awesome! I have been searching for something like this. I do have a question though. I want to carry iPad, digital camera, and a Canon Vixia camcorder. The Vixia is a bit larger than a coke can. Is there padded room for the camera to fit securely? Thanks!

I have the bag and love it but it is such a tight fit I have not been using it. I thought I was going to break the ipad getting it in and out. How long does it take to loosen up?

@Bvphaze3, I have an Olympus DSLR and a Panasonic video camera in there now. They're in there a bit like tetris blocks as to not bump around but the padding around the sides and bottom of the main compartment is about 1/2 an inch think and everything is well protected.

@Dwanep, I guess I noticed it had loosened up about 2 weeks after I started using it. I'll agree it's a tight fit at first and I wanted to be cautious not to treat the iPad too rough.

I really like this bag and the options that can be added to it. I was thinking, if I really wanted to loosen it up, about taking a block of wood ever-so-slightly bigger than the ipad+case, stuffing it in the CC pocket and throwing the bag in the dryer for about 30 minutes.
