Hi

I'm a web developer but as mobile device i use android phone and tablets, on my mac mini browser emulator is often has some issue and get really slow, i also some time need to test on a real device.

I was wondering if i buy an iPad 2 and use split screen feature to resize browser windows to about half of the screen i should also be able to mimic a pretty close iPhone view

is it also possible to have 2 safari windows side by side?

The iPad 2 is not compatible with split screen or slide over - the oldest regular sized model that can do both is the iPad Air 2. Native iOS does not support side by side safari right now, but there's a very cheap app called Sidefari which can be opened next to Safari. Personally though I would use iCab as you can set the browser ID to various devices including iPhone or even Mac (and Chrome, etc. if that's another concern).

Buy one and use it as tax write off? Business use etc... If you live in the United States of course, not sure about other countries.
