iPad/iPhone connection issues

Hey all,

So I brought home my shiny new macBook pro and I have an issue with the USB ports. When I connect an iPad or iPhone the connection spazzes out. I tried two cables and two different USB ports. Check out the video to see what happens. Any suggestions shy of bringing it back to the store?

I've had the same issue with my iPhone. I just plug it into the other USB port and it worked. After that the other USB port seemed to be fine as well.
I don't know what causes this.
