I recently bought an iPad, set it up fine. Great..

I then noticed not all my contacts from my iPhone were listed, when i know most of them have iMessage. So i "bumped" across all the contacts from my iPhone to the iPad.

Now i have duplicate contacts throughout my iPhone contact list.

Anyone had this problem & can fix this?

Thanks Dean

bumped the contacts??? lol

do you mean syncing with icloud?

im not positive, but if you use icloud, turn your contacts off, it will ask if you want to delete the contacts or leave on iphone. Select delete, then re-enable the icloud contacts. It should ask you "do you want to merge, or replace contacts?" select Replace and it should get rid of the doubles.

im not sure if thats how it works, but give it a try
