OKay so I have an iPad2, and iPhone and a Mac pro. I want to be able to individually facetime each one at any given time. How have some of you worked through this? it's my understading that each needs it's own seperate email address in order to work correct?

That's exactly right. You need to set up separate email addresses for each device. You don't need separate Apple IDs. Just any email address will work.

I found that my daughters gmail account wouldn't support FaceTime on her iPod. I got round it by setting up my wife's talktalk account on the device as well. Apparently as an iPhone user you can be facetimed from another device that shares the same email address but because it's a phone you FaceTime the number not the address. Haven't tried this myself yet but was advised it would work in another thread.
