ipad is great but a lot of the apps need tweaking

Most developers only had access to the simulator and not the hardware until everyone else did. It will take a few days for all the bugs to be worked out.

The iphone apps are terrible, I don't think anyone will disagree but so far all the ipad apps i've tried are great

3.2 screen to 9.7, of course it won't look good.

Absolutely! I only have the Facebook app and meebo iPhone versions. But both of those look real bloated. Although I understand why, it sucks to have to use the iPhone keyboard.
