Is it the same as the wireless keyboard with Bluetooth? Can you remove the dock from the bottom to use ot just as a keyboard?

If you mean the original Apple iPad Keyboard Dock, that uses the 30-pin dock connector (AKA: Only works on iPads up to the iPad 3rd gen/Retina, not the 4th gen or mini,) then no.

It is a dock with a built-in wired keyboard. You cannot separate the keyboard from the dock, and the keyboard does not work except through the dock connector to an iPad.

If you mean a different keyboard dock, then you would have to specify which one you are referring to. I know of many "keyboard bases" that are Bluetooth keyboards that use no physical connection to the iPad.
