I'm living outside the United States right now and have always been trying to watch U.S. shows from my iPad or computer. I got the abc player in hopes that it would work but didn't. Is there anything I can do to make my ipad think I'm in the United States?

I live in the U.S but travel internationally. I paid for a vpn service (blackvpn in my case). It allows me to use apps like ABC Player when I'm out of the country. It's not free, but it works great.

I'm not sure if location spoofers work for this, but my current iPad isn't jailbroken so I can't test that.

How much does it cost?

Yes, apply for VPN that can get you US ip address.
This will work for sure. I'm not living in the US, I am able to stream music in Pandora and view videos in the ABC Player.

Do you know of a good one that's free?
