iPad loosing charge very very fast!

I received my iPad on launch day and so far I have been primarily using it for web surfing and switching apps from my original iPad to my new iPad. However, in the last 5 days I have charged my new iPad twice and both times the iPad has died on standby with barely any use. I don't have any apps running in the background either. Has this been happening to anyone else? I might have to switch mine out.

Is there an errant app running in the background that is draining it? Maybe push/fetch for email? Have you tried closing all the apps and rebooting? Also look to see what is accessing location services.
