Sorry if this has been answered before. I researched a bit and never found a post like mine. When I plug my ipad into the wall charger or the computer, the battery icon in the center has a thin strip of red and a bolt underneath for about 5 seconds, then disappears to a black screen. Shouldn't there at least be some sort of charging screen? I'm just going to leave it plugged into the wall until hopefully something pops up on the screen. Any suggestions though? I'm new to ipads.

If the device is extremely low on power, the display may be blank for up to two minutes before one of the low-battery images appears. If you don't see the white charging or plug icons, try connecting to the USB Power Adapter included with your iPad
