iPad MBP ebook reading?

I actually want an iPad for reading only, but I also have i5 15" MBP (low res glossy).
Which one is better in terms of easy to read and easy to use? :confused: iPad worth the $?
 
Only you will know the real answer to this. Any and all answers will most likely be subjective. Most of the time "we" consumers feel it necessary to defend our purchases, so in this forum I am sure that most will say that you should get the MACBOOK PRO. I like both, but I currently do not own an iPad.
