Hi,

I am planning on upgrading to the new iPhone when it is released and all signals point to a mini sim card, my question is, if I can get hold of an iPad sim card obviously I wont be able to get calls if I use it in my iPhone but its data plans are significantly better than anything else for my iPhone.

What do you think, it will be able to do a swap and put it in.

EDIT: See i mentioned it here ---> I am a foreigner traveling to the USA FYI

Pretty expensive Ipod touch.... But what I would be curious about is the other way around. Can you avoid the data plan for the iPad by using the iPhone sim when not needing the phone?

And the iPad data plan would avoid such a charge?

Thats what I am hoping, so I can just switch out simcards and use the ipads data plan when I need it i.e. the prepaid one I think is 250mb of data and as it does not require a contract, hopefully I can chuck it in my 4G

Yeah, but wouldn't that still be domestic prepaid data?

O did I forget to say that I am a foreigner visiting the USA? I was sure I mentioned that in my first post.

Oh yeah! I'm so stupid to have no seen that. ;) wink ;) wink.

I hope you can man. Wish I had an answer for you on this. I would really like to know the reverse to this question myself. :D
