As we all know, Apple has discontinued the 32GB version of iPad Mini and only offers the 16GB. Luckily, I found a store at the mall who still sells it and prices it a lot cheaper. Which do you think is more worth it? The 32GB iPad Mini or the 16GB with retina display? The price of the two is about the same but the retina is a few dollars more expensive. Thank you so much! :)

Don´t understand your question.

If you don´t need the 32GB, then buy the retina one.

If you need the 32GB, then buy the non retina one.

Simply as *****

Buy the 32GB original mini if you KNOW that you NEED 32GB. Otherwise, get the Retina if you can live with 16GB. Is there any way you can just wait a bit and purchase a Retina 32GB in a few months, or perhaps when refurbished units become available?

Remember that internally the original Mini performs like an iPad 2. The retina mini has the guts of an iPad 5. It's substantially more "future-proof" both in terms of performance and support. Plus, the Retina screen is nice :)

I actually originally planned on saving up for the 32GB retina, but my family found the price quite unreasonable and I somehow did as well. I already have a laptop so I'm not really sure how much storage I'd actually need. I currently have an iPod touch 4 and I have around 160 apps plus a gb of music and photos respectively. Right now, I have around 3 gb left on it so I actually feel that 16GB might be sufficient. Although, I heard that iPad apps (especially the retina ones) are 5x larger than the apps on iPhones and iPods. Is this true?

I'm mainly going to use the iPad for surfing the internet (how much of an impact does the A7 chip have on the speed of the internet?), watching videos on YT, a little-moderate amount of games, a few pictures (which I can backup on my computer), taking notes, some eBooks, and music. I really want to choose the retina but I don't want to struggle and regret later knowing that I had the option to have a larger space for almost the same price tag. Will 16GB suffice?

Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it! :)
