I'm so sorry if this has already been covered, but I have a problem with my 1st gen iPad mini when adjusting the brightness in iBooks. I set it to the lowest brightness to read at night but approximately a 5th of the screen doesn't adjust and remains bright. Any ideas what may be causing it or if there's a fix? It's not life threatening, just very annoying!
