Recently I have noticed that my iPad mini 2 3G (16Gb) that was bought new from the Apple Store (no extended Applecare) is suffering from extensive battery drain when connected to 3G. For example, it was on ~50% battery last night and without being used, it had fully drained by this morning. Surely this is now normal? If I put it in airplane mode with wifi on, battery drain is much slower and I get many days of light usage from it.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it related to iOS, 3G or a battery issue?
