Hi i bought an ipad mini 2 from cex and it came with a standard triangle apple charger however when i charge it the ipad does charge but says not charging in the right hand corner of screen. I read that this means that the charger output isnt as high as it should be, so what im asking is what is the correct charger for an ipad mini 2? Thanks

Watts, not amps...;)...10W or 12W should have been included. Either will work fine on a Mini - I forget which was originally shipped with the Mini.

Looks like both my air 2 and mini 4 came with 10w - 2.1a

Curious why the mini 4 doesn't come with the 12w since it's technically the "new" replacement for the 10w

Had to deplete old stock?
Kidding. Apple always puts the lowest power possible in their devices. My MacBook Air came with a 45 watt, the Pro shipped with 60 watt. That's just Apple.

I think the only device that came with the 12 watt is the 4th generation iPad. I still don't know why they don't include it in the newer devices.

My Mini 2 shipped with a 10. The mini 4 charger is still in the box in its wrapper so I don't know what it shipped with lol, but I'm using the 12 from my iPad Air 1. i don't charge the Air except once every week.
