iPad Mini 2 replaced today, warranty starts over!

Hi guys,

My iPad mini 2 was replaced today as a result of a mute button issue and when I checked the serial number of the new one, I saw its warranty would expire in one year. Is it a mistake or has some warranty policy changed recently? Anyway, yaay!

Usually that updates in the next few days to just have the remainder of the old one's warranty, sadly.

It's 90 days or the remainder of the original iPad's warranty, whichever is longest.
