I have recently started experiencing some intermittent volume issues with my iPad Mini 2, when playing music & movies.
On most occasions, when playing back audio, the iPad is OK - volume is good, sound quality is as expected and no dramas, but every now and again (like this morning's commute), I have an issue where the volume is very low.
I have no volume restriction settings on and the source music/movies are the same as previously listened to, so it's not that.
This morning, I was listening to a playlist on the Music app and I had my headphones turned up FULL and still only just had enough volume to drown out the bus engine noise - normally a very easy task.
I have switched to my iPhone and found no issue there, so it's not the headphones.
For reference the set up is as follows:
iPad Mini 2 128gb
iOS 8.4
SOL Republic Tracks Air Bluetooth headphones
The music is downloaded to the iPad so not an issue with the cloud either.
Any thoughts on what this may be caused by would be appreciated.
