So until last week i had an iPad2 (old i know) that i used for business travel only, basically use it on the plane to watch movies/shows, read/write (not much write) python code (pythonista), ssh to a server/router to do something and been thinking about getting a new iPad since my old one just died. Basically i didnt like the size of it so i want to get a mini.. the question is which mini... the mini 2 is now $199 at walmart and $275 for the mini 4 i believe both 32gb... is the $75 difference worth it for what im doing?

Yes. Definitely go for the iPad mini 4 for only a $75 difference.

For a $75 difference: a faster processor, double the RAM, better display, thinner and lighter, better camera, and almost certainly a year or two longer OS support?

Definitely!
