I noticed that my ipad mini 4 had a small brownish/yellowish spot in the lower left hand corner. I did a search and it seems that most of the threads mentioning spots were iphones and not minis (and pictures that look VERY similar to what I now have) plus it seems, according to those threads that the spots were there from the beginning and claimed it was something they used in the manufacturing process that would go away. However, I've had my mini 4 for over a year and it just appeared (I just noticed it this morning.)

Any ideas on what could have caused this?

Is this something I can have replaced over the phone? Or will I have to find time to get to an apple store so they can see it? (I have AC+)

Can you submit a picture? I personally would take it to an Apple Store. Sounds like a defective pixel. Of course that's just a guess.
