They are unlikely to have any in stock until 16th September when iOS 9 is released, as it comes pre-installed on the mini 4.

The answers to your other thread and posts still apply. Don't look for it in stores until at least mid/late next week. The fastest way to get it was probably to order on the Apple Store website yesterday or Wednesday.

The lead time from the Apple online store has gone from 4-6 business days down to 2-4 business days. Sounds like stock is plentiful and things will be shipping this coming Monday.

There's probably very little risk with the Mini 4, but in general waiting for web reviews and user feedback is a good idea. On the other hand, there's always the 15 day return period.
