iPad iPad mini 5 external display used as desktop

I am wondering if iPad mini 5 can be turned into desktop? What would be the resolution if connected to external display? Is then only mirroring or display extension possible? I have DP, HDMI and USB hub in one of the displays - which adapter do I need to use the hub too?

You need a lightning to HDMI adapter (only genuine ones, otherw don't work). There is no way to know the resolution, but it will only be mirroring, no extended view.
