ipad Mini Bluetooth Car Sync issues?

I have a 2011 VW Jetta and I cant get the mini to sync. Its searched and searched for a connection ( even picks up other cars Bluetooth around me) but not my VW Bluetooth.

My iPhone 5 connects with no issues to the VW Bluetooth.

has anyone else had these issues or have a fix?

I'm not a car BT expert, but some cars have a limited number of devices they can connect with. One of my cars can do 5 devices, and the other only two. If you delete your iPhone and are then able to connect your Mini, that's the answer. Otherwise, try to connect the Mini to another car's/stereo's BT to make sure the Mini is working properly.

I am having the same problem with my rMini. The 5 works fine but not the mini. I wonder if tethering my iPhone to my mini for LTE connection has anything to do with it. My car is a 2010 Golf TDI.
