Ipad mini buying advice

Hi all

My sister wants me to buy her an Ipad Mini for her birthday which is on 31st October. I am wondering when is the best time to buy at the best price. I know new Ipad's are meant to be coming out. However the current Ipad Mini will do for her.

I have been keeping an eye on the refurb apple store and no luck as they are out of stock. My buying options are the UK. Also if and when new Ipads are launched, how likely is it that the current Ipads will drop price and if so, will they drop by much?

Any advice?

Wait until the very end of october just to be sure Apple doesn't release an update to the iPads before then.

Good advice. I have just noticed the 22nd October event information on MR. So will wait and see.
