iPad mini Non-Retina vs. iPad 2 Non-Retina

Is the iPad mini screen the same as the iPad 2 or is it slightly better although it isn't retina.

I know that the screen on the iPad mini is closer to the glass helping with it looking a bit sharper but is the PPI the same for both iPads?

I thnk the screen on the iPad mini is sharper since it is smaller with more (ppi) than the iPad 2!

Ps: will the iPad mini LTE version have facetime over cellular of course not on AT&T, but what about other carriers?

Although they have the same resolution, iPad 2 is 132 ppi and iPad mini is 163 ppi.
