This is about the iphone and ipad mini, so I wasnt sure where to put it...

I will be competing in dog agility within the next year. Ive competed before but nothing that Id want to video record. I want to start recording practice and my runs. For those that do not know what agility is...its a fast speed dog sport going over different obstacles.

Anyway I own an Ipad mini and currently an Iphone 4s...probably will get a Iphone 5 or whatever they have come June.

Which device would do better with recording fast paced events? or should I just break down and get a small video recorder?

Thank you

I'd suggest using a Go Pro. They seem a bit more suited for what you're trying to do.

EDIT* Actually your 4S is probably just fine for this.

thanks, i planned on getting a new iphone when my upgrade is due in June.

For what's it's worth, I recorded a motocross race on my 4 or 4S, sorry I don't remember which one, and it turned out great.
