my new iPad Mini Retina is repeatedly crashing under 7.0.4 after iOS update

especially when browsing settings

have you experienced this ?

Mine has crashed a time or two when using Safari, but it's definitely not all the time.

Does any one thing cause it to crash in settings? I know if you tap Wallpaper twice, it'll close out of settings. My rMini might have closed out of Safari twice in four days, my 64GB Air 5 times in one month, and the 128GB Air I bought over the weekend closed out of Safari once. Walmart and Facebook are the two culprits in my case. Running 7.0.4......

it crashes randomly

just installed the app 500px, i was using it and it suddenly crashed

----------

does restoring it solve anything as it is brand new ?

i'm gonna do that

saving the content into iCloud then restore it and see what happens

Thank god I chose to google 7.0.4 when I got the new update red icon in settings on my new Retina Mini! I never upgrade before thoroughly searching if people are having problems.

Hopefully 7.1 will be better but for now, I'm sticking with 7.0.3

i have this bad habit of always updating my macs and idevices, but next time i'll wait before doing it

anyway, i have been using it since last night, watched a lot of movies, browsing the web

no more crash since i restored the ipad

fingers crossed

because of a slight yellow tint on the bottom of the screen, i had my RMini exchanged

screen is perfect, but this new one is also crashing again

Your new one came with 7.0.4?? I upgraded to the 32GB version last night, saw that it was on 7.0.3 to my relief.

My mini was crashing OOTB. Did a DFU restore and all was fine!

I have a feeling there's a slightly duff restore image being used in one factory.

I got my new iPad mini2 (16G wifi with 7.0.4 preinstalled) on Jan 14. It constantly crashes and reboots. I've tried reseting the iPad both from iPad itself and from the iTunes application but the problem is still there. Wondering if it's a hardware issue so I may return it back to Apple.
