This article is written in a pretty sensationalist tone, calling the test "a pretty scathing indictment of the display in the new Retina iPad mini that will rain on the parade of anyone that just ponied up almost $1,000 for Apple's newest little tablet."

"Scathing" is just silly, since if you actually look at the source, the rMini scored an overall grade of "Good" compared to the other two at "Very Good." And I guess $399 is pretty close to $1,000 if you round up to the next thousand...

So tired of all this technical gamut spec talk... Go to an Apple Store. Look at the screen. If you like it, buy it. If not, don't. Easy.

I'm sure their language is designed to elicit controversy and clicks. Do they have ads on their review pages? But of course they do.
