iPad mini iPad mini retina speakers kinda quiet?

Hello,

I'm not sure if mine is defective or what, but the max volume at 100% for my retina mini isn't really that loud. It's not defectively quiet and it's not hollow sounding, but I just wish it can be louder.

The mini retina's 100% level is kind of like 75-80% of the iPad 4's speaker level. It is audible but not clearly "loud". In fact, I feel my iPhone 5s speaker is louder at the highest setting.

Can someone confirm or did I get a bad unit?

There are threads about this already.

The sound quality is really good, but not as loud.

No big deal to me. Very happy with my rMini.

Yea the sound quality is amazing but just not as loud. I even think it's quieter than the original mini?
