iPad mini iPad Mini Smart Cover not so smart....

Hi. Just wondered if I'm the only person to have this problem as I can find anything anywhere on the net..my Smart Cover is not so smart, it does not switch on or off my ipad mini when opening and closing the cover.. Or have I missed switching a setting on !!!

Make sure in Settings - General the setting for iPad Cover lock / unlock is on.
