I suppose it was unavoidable given the laws of physics but has anyone else noticed that the iPad mini's entire housing vibrates when playing anything through its speakers even at relatively low volume?

I don't think it's a defect. It's slightly annoying given that the mini is so easy to hold when listening to a podcast, watching a video, etc.

Same thing happened with the first iPad.

I remember in the Apple store when I picked one up for the first time and it was vibrating.

I thought, "This doesn't feel as nice as I expected, doesn't feel very solid!"

The Apple store was so loud I had no idea that it was blasting out a song at full volume, untill I went into the music app to see it playing.
