When I have connected my iPad Mini to my MacBook Pro and try to Sync iTunes crashes. My iPad does initially show up in iTunes and starts to sync, however, after a few minutes iTunes completely crashes and stops responding.

I should also add that, I have that there are numerous apps on the iPad and that this is the 1st time I am trying to sync with my laptop

Can someone help.... :confused:

Have you tried a different computer. Or even a different user. That would tell you if it's something in the computer or the iPad.
 
have you tried listing your iPad into your signature? it might feel left out and that is why it isn't playing right with your computer.
 
Do you have the latest iTunes installed?

I am using iTunes 11.1.4

I have signed into iTunes a 2 different user names with the same problem, I have however not tried another laptop

I dont understand what you mean...
