iPad Mini vs iPod Touch

Both are on a very similar price range. What do you think is the best one? Larger screen vs retina. And other things to consider makes this a tough task to pick the better one.

Although they are very similar in price, they differ in function. Obviously an iPod is more portable than an iPad Mini. Another thing to consider is iPhone apps vs iPad Apps. The iPad apps have more real estate and tend to be a lot better and more capable. Although the iPod has a better pixel density, the iPad Mini has a much larger screen.

If I had $350 to burn today, I'd get the iPad mini. Seems like there's much more potential there. While the touch is great for (portable) music and some games, I have one and pretty much keep it in a speaker dock--my iPhone is my portable player. I'd stash an iPad mini by the couch or in the kitchen and use it for all the great iPad specific apps, Internet, or interactivity that would be better on the larger screen.
