Hello, everyone!
I used my Christmas money to buy a first generation iPad Mini and finally decided to open the wall adapter so that I could charge my device. However, I quickly noticed that this wall adapter is nothing like the ones that came with my previous devices. It's missing the green dot. I looked it up and apparently these adapters are from 2008 and are faulty, which makes me wonder how the hell it was packaged with my iPad, especially because the box has iOS 7 so it's the updated first gen iPad mini. What do you think I should do? How did the wall adapter get in my box? It's still wrapped in plastic.

If you can, take it to the Apple Store. If I remember correctly, they were offering free replacements when they were recalled. I'm sure they could help you out.
