iPad Mini - What time does USA Pre Order start?

what time is pre-order going to start ? do we have any info on that ? is every one planing to order one ?
 
Supposedly the mini is going to be in Apple Stores at 8AM next Friday, November 2nd.

So who thinks that pre-orders will ship prior to Nov. 2, so they will receive them on Nov. 2, or will pre-orders arrive later?
 
any change of ship times slipping if you don't get pre-order in before 6am friday?

I didn't think the demand would be that high.

My guess is earlier as long as they aren't sold out.
 
Does anyone know if that includes that Cellular model also? or are they having a separate pre order date for those too?

If you preorder, before they're back ordered, you'll get it Nov 2. Just check your expected delivery date when you order.

When I woke up at 6 AM eastern when the iP5 pre orders began the expected delivery was 1-2 weeks after the original shipments. I went over to AT&T and ordered from them for delivery on launch day. Tonight, I'm not taking the chance and am getting up at 3 to pre order.
 
Just chatted with an online Apple person.
They have not been made aware of the exact time that pre-orders will start.
They also do not know if the iPad Mini Smart Covers will be made available for pre-order at the same time.
 
I know I'm going to set my alarm for 2:55 EST and order using the iPhone Apple Store app. (I won't even have to get out of bed). That seemed to be the fastest way to order for the iPhone 5. It was about 3:55 EST before I could order the iPhone 5 via the online web store and one of them was delayed by 2 weeks. I know folks were thinking that the demand wouldn't be as high for the mini, but I also think supplies will be lower especially for the unit I want - 16GB Black WiFi.

If it is anything like every other apple product (aside from laptops), they will be delivered to you the same day it is in store.

I've got a feeling these will be gone VERY quickly. Then you see those really annoying "Mini shipped dates now pushed ahead to 2180".

Could even stumble beyond Christmas. Who knows. But I would expect the worst, if history is any
guide.

then again, with the economy......
 
Is the LTE version avail for preorder? has this been confirmed. I know it won't ship to arrive Nov 2 but not sure if we can preorder at midnight
 
does anybody know if you can pre order it and have to sent to a apple store instead of home address? Does anyone know if you can do this with apple retail store app on the iphone?
 
When does the preorder go live.

I am probably getting the black 32gb celluar (i know it's coming 2 weeks after), I'm just wondering what time.
 
basically anyone who couldnt afford an full size ipad will be getting one of these. i expect it to be one of the hottest christmas items. I bet they will cross over the december 25 delivery date by the end of next week.

Don't forget to order the Lightning adaptors, if you need them. I ordered 2 on Tuesday and it looks like it will be here on Monday.
