Given the naming scheme used with the latest iPad it will probably be more like "the new smaller iPad".

To complement the iPhone Nano I've wanted Apple to produce for years! There are some who find small to be wonderful, beautiful and much more useful than their size would suggest.

They could go the Amazon route and call it "the New iPad HD+ 7.85-inch".

Proper iPad, no. iPad Reader, maybe. iPad Air, no.

But I like the "Who cares?" response. I just want iOS in a reader sized tablet.
