I have my iPad email configured for my MobileMe account, and everything works perfectly on my home WiFi network. When connected to my work's WiFi network I cannot send or receive email (assume some needed ports are blocked).

If I fire up a web browser on my MacBook I can access MobileMe email (at work) with no problems. Problem is Safari on the iPad can't get to MobileMe.

Is there another way to configure my iPad MobileMe account so that it can slip out the firewall (like the web interface on my MacBook can)?

Turns out my iPhone has the exact same issue when connected to my work WiFi, gotta be a blocked port.

Anyone out there figure out how to get around this sort of thing by tweaking mail account settings in the iPad/iPhone?
