Hi there,

So we are in a pickle. I'm at a university, and we have a user who wishes to use an app called MYPOINT POWERPOINT REMOTE on their IPAD to control a powerpoint on a PC laptop. Our university's network does not allow for wirless communication between 2 devices on their network, so it was suggested that I try setting up an ad hoc network between the IPAD and the LAPTOP.

I am just wondering what the complete process for this is?

I seem to be doing something wrong. I believe that I have created the Ad hoc network on the laptop, because my IPAD can see it as one of it's options under the WIFI networks. I also SEEM to be able to get the IPAD to connect to this network, however MYPOINT POWERPOINT REMOTE does not seem to be able to see the laptop.

Any suggestions or hints? Anyone familiar with MYPOINT?

Thanks very much!
