Ok this is driving me nuts. I just received my new iPad 2 today and I did a restore from a previous backup (original iPad). Now that the restore is complete my iPad name is missing.

Usually I could just click the iPad name under devices and change it, but since there isn't a name I am unable to do this. If I do a restore I am sure that will fix the problem but then i will lose all gaming information, etc. that is held within the backup.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Click on the iPad representation (the one with no text) and hit return / enter to rename it to whatever you want: "iPad", "MrMojoRysin's iPad" etc.

That doesn't work either. If i highlight the "iPad Symbol" with no name and hit enter music just starts playing
