I've tried to look this up but maybe I'm not wording it properly. I have a question regarding sharing internet between iPhone and iPad. When you share your iPhone's connection with your Mac, it treates it like a wifi connection (allowing everything to work in the background including updates and other non essential things), does the same happens with the iPad or does iPad treates it like a 4G connection (like iPhone does and, I guess, a cellular iPad)?

Thanks.
