iPad (new) Volume Rocker

just a quick question. how secure is the rocker? mine seems to be slightly loose left to right, but is secure up and down. this normal?

so far i love my ipad. slight glitch with an itunes giftcard where it wasn't recognised and i was charged REAL MONEY for my first app, pages, but it's sorted now.
