iPad not charging

Hello my Ipad 3 is not charging when being used but if i close it ,it gets a charge right away
Any ideas why ?

Which charger are you using?

iPad requires more current than most USB chargers can provide. The Genuine Apple iPad charger is rated for 10w, while most aftermarket "generic" USB chargers are only 1 or 2 watts.

Thank you for the reply , but im using a genuine Apple
charger .. And it was working fine before...
