All iPads iPad not in-cell touch

Kind of disappointing that the new iPad air doesn't use in-cell touch displays. Side by side when the screen is off, the iPhone 5 has a much darker screen color, almost blending in with the black bezel. Where-as the iPad Air you can see 2 vastly different shade of black between the bezel and the unlit screen...

Yeah I'm OCD. But the deep black screen when the iPhone 5 is off is one of the part how it makes the black i5 so attractive. The darker slate finish also helps, even tho it's all gone on the 5S...

Are you sure it doesn't have a random color tint and black light bleed?

Get a white one then. You won't have the issue anymore.
