iPad not updating/restoring off IPSW

Whenever I try to update/restore my iPad to 4.2 using an IPSW I downloaded direct from Apple it just shows up as "greyed out" in the Finder. I option-click Update and my IPSW is greyed out.

My internet is very, very slow (we're talking about 30Kb/s downloads) so downloading it at my home using iTunes isn't really an option.

Please help!!
