iPad on Amazon.com

Anyone know how long it took for the iPad 2 to show up on Amazon after its release? As I recall, it wasn't immediate. Whenever I upgrade my iPad 1 to the 3, I might buy it from Amazon.

Amazon has never sold iPads -- only 3rd party sellers selling on Amazon.

I usually buy from vendors that have a history, not individuals or "no-name" places. You do have to be so careful these days, however.

It'll be a while before you see 3rd parties selling them for the same retail prices. I decided to not wait so I pre-ordered from Apple instead.

It sucks paying tax and not being able to use my amazon gift cards, but impatience has a price I guess.
