I have an iPad I use in the kitchen, and some of the free space we have is on top of the microwave. Is there any reason not to put it on top of there? I know at some point someone will use the microwave. I remember back in the day you couldnt put a CRT television on top of a microwave, or something like that...

If the microwave is less then 10 years old, it should be fine. The only thing that isn't going to be happy is it's wifi connection. It'll drop like a stone when you cook anything.

also, if its one with a built in grill/oven its gonna get mighty hot on there. Goes without saying thats not a good idea!

Bluetooth is more susceptible but the OP probably wouldn't use it while on the microwave ... or maybe he would. *dunno*
