I'm having a weird issue with my ipad suddenly where it only recognizes that a cable is plugged in after being turned off and then back on while the cable is plugged in. If the cable is then unplugged and reinserted, it doesn't recognize it's plugged in. This goes for both cables attached to an outlet as well as my PC/itunes. Itunes works fine so long as I restart the device so that it recognizes the cable, otherwise it doesn't recognize the device. I've tried cleaning the dock port, as well as a full restore, and have tried 3 different cables including an official Apple cable as well as two non-Apple cables. It's also updated to iOS 8.4.

I'd appreciate any advice, since my warranty is expired.

Thank you.
