I currently have an HP laptop that I have had for four years, and I really need a new one. I am not sure if I need a mac or iPad.

This is the info you would need about my usage:
High school student,
Travels with laptop a lot
Needs a good word processor
I need access to a collaborative file sharing system (Pocket in my case)

I feel like an Ipad may be better because of the apps, and because it is more portable. i would get a keyboard for it.

Next question, how much storage should I get on an iPad? 32 or 64? I have about 10gb of music, and need to store a lot of my school work on there in addition to having pictures & apps on it. The majority of my pictures are on my iPhone though.

Thank you so much.

I feel like you answered your own question there.

However, depending on how old you are, you might just want to hold off and buy a laptop when you go to college.

I am only a rising sophomore now, so I would have to hold off for 3 more years.

I think I am going to go for the iPad.

So, how much storage do you think I need?
