I have deleted more than 100 GB of storage from one app and yet the total disk usage reported by iPad OS 15.7 is incorrect. I tried rebooting several times to no avail. How do I make iPad OS reports the correct amount?

check the Recently Deleted-folder in Apple’s Files. Delete the files listed there permanently.

i believe it’s a bug with how things are cached in iPad OS. Often I have to delete the offending app (namely iMovie and Files) and redownload. It takes only a minute but it’s annoying nonetheless.

I already cleared the Recently Deleted Folder. Anyway, I just decided to reset my iPad all together because I really needed that 100GB space.
