ipad password manager (windows/linux/ipad/iphone via dropbox?)

Hi guys,

as per the topic title i require a password manager that will run on the 4 devices listed above.

I currently use keepass and use dropbox to sync between my windows and linux devices. Now i need toalso access my passwords on my shiny new ipad.

What apps are available that will allow me to sync between iOS, linux and windows? (Possibly via dropbox although i can host DB file on my we b server if needed)

Check out 1password they do db. I am not sure if they have a unix version though.

keepass is the software that would work great but for somereason i cannot use any of the software designed for it on iOS.

ikeepass and mykeepass are not available in the UK store for some reason?

If i could get around this somehow that would be great, any ideas?

sadly they dont, besides that, 1password is great and well worth the price

ive got my finger ready to try 1password though i will try to run their windows/mac software under linux first and see if it works.

i'll report back and let you all know.

you could also try lastpass (http://lastpass.com/) its avaible for linux too altough it doesnt use dropbox (and its subscription based)

the ipad client forces you to use their browser, and it doesnt sound too great when looking at the review:

You may want to take a gander at Ascendo Datavault. I use it on iPad & Windows and use Swissdisk as a conduit for syncing. Swissdisk is a free alternative to Dropbox and doesn't require you to store your data persistently on server as with Lastpass.
